The Brunswick Stew is worth the drive to this small diner with large quality foods. The atmosphere is quiet and small with some outside seating. The bathrooms and general environment are clean and well tended. The Brunswick Stew is excellent and should be a meal unto itself. They have specials and the sides are versatile. Pulled meats or sliced are available but they have many awards for the ribs. Savannah is lucky to quality eats such as this.
Had a wonderful experience here!! Just stumbled upon this location after a day of fishing and decided to walk in, was greeted with smiles and got seated instantly. I saw there where some regulars in there at the time in which it’s was great to see the way the waitresses interact with them, not only them but, I believe her name was Tonya or Tammy, was outstanding!! She was easy to talk to and like a mother taking care of her kids haha set up our table including napkins, talked to us about our food options and recommendations, not to mention was very attentive with her service and made personal conversation checking in on us a couple times without being to much. Oh yeah, saw we were finishing up and didn’t even have to ask for to go boxes/drinks she already had them ready!! They serve a lot of food, so I feel the price is definitely reasonable as we had 2 extra meals off of our leftovers, would definitely recommend this location!!
I recently tried the ribs from Wiley’s Championship BBQ, and I can honestly say they are the best I’ve ever had! The meat is tender, perfectly seasoned, and falls right off the bone. The smoky flavor is out of this world, and the sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. It’s clear that they put a lot of care and skill into their cooking. I highly recommend Wiley’s for anyone who loves great BBQ — they’ve definitely earned a loyal customer in me!
We had Wiley's cater our small wedding. Wednesday November 6, 2024 in Tybee Island. They came and set everything up for us, we had brisket, pulled pork, chicken, mac and cheese, green beans, potato salad, banana pudding and drinks. THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS AMAZING! Everything tasted Great! Thanks Wiley's for the yummy food and taking g care of the catering for us!! Joe & Suzi
Definitely one of the best BBQ spots I’ve ever been to. We got the sampler ribs, everything was made to perfection & falling off the bone. We got the sweet potato casserole & mac n cheese are our sides & for dessert they were already sold out of majority of the desserts we were interested in (we came in later in the day) That tells you those desserts must be deelish. We ended up getting the coffee chocolate chip ice cream which was good!We will definitely be stopping by before we head out of town because there’s other things we wanted to try :)
We have gotten hooked on their smoked BBQ wings. They are HUGE and so good. Wish the fries were better, but I still order them every time. The service is top notch, and we rarely have to wait for our to go order. The parking lot SUCKS and is always too full, but that's not their fault, it's the landlord.
Really enjoyed my visit to Wiley’s Championship BBQ in Savannah. The food was great, everything was flavorful and cooked just right. Our server, Olivia, was awesome. She was super friendly, checked on us often without being overbearing, and just made the whole experience better. Definitely a spot I’d come back to next time I’m in town.
